They can double as a sofa table,  console table, and can be pulled out and opened to serve as a dining table. Nesting matching bench fits within the table bench and folded down leaves. 
 
Typical size is a 16" wide center section with (2) 10" leaves for a total of 36" wide.
The top is finished to approx. 1-1/4" thick
